The culmination of multiple hours staying still is what led to my collection of bird photographs. Here are some of my favorite birds that I have waited for in my travels.

My way to become one with nature

This is a soft-wood whittled Carolina Wren with wood that I brought from Alaska.

Birds are my passion. I had a co-worker at my hospital that introduced me to bird-watching. That co-worker left for the Peace Corps and I whittled them a Carolina Wren as a keepsake. These are some of my favorite birds that I have seen over the years, and the Carolina Wren I whittled.
